Scholarly Activities

The University of Michigan Pediatric Residency Program is proud to train phenomenal patient care providers who are also well-prepared to excel in their academic pursuits.  Our residents receive specific training in Quality Improvement and are able to pursue long-term research projects during their residency training.  In addition, residents are able to serve in high-needs areas locally, nationally and internationally in various program sponsored sites and projects.  After residency training, these experiences set our residents apart as they begin their careers or start fellowship training.

Please take a look at each section to learn more about the academic possibilities during your residency training at the University of Michigan.
